Configure taxes

Storelancer applies the tax rates you configure. It does not calculate tax automatically for every jurisdiction, and it doesn't file or remit tax for you — check your obligations with an accountant or tax adviser.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Taxes.
2. Choose whether your prices include tax (common in the EU, UK and Australia) or tax is added at checkout.
3. Add a rate for each country (and region, where needed) you must charge tax in.
4. Decide whether tax also applies to shipping.

Tax is shown as a separate line at checkout, on order confirmations and on the order page.
