Who we are

[Operator legal name, address and contact email to be inserted.] This policy explains how personal information is handled when you use Storelancer.

Two roles

For merchant accounts (people who build stores), we decide how account data is used. For shoppers buying from a store, the merchant is responsible for their customers' data, and we process it on the merchant's behalf to run the store.

Information we collect

- Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), language and time zone. - Store data you add: products, pages, orders, customers and settings. - Technical data: IP address and browser information for security, sign-in sessions and rate limiting. - Support messages you send us.

How we use it

- To provide and secure the Service, including detecting abuse. - To send service emails such as verification, password resets and billing notices. - To respond to support requests.

Payment information

Card and wallet payments are handled by the payment provider the merchant connects. Payment provider credentials saved by merchants are encrypted at rest.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us run the Service (for example hosting and email delivery) and when required by law. [List of sub-processors to be inserted.]

Retention

[Retention periods to be inserted.]

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Contact us to make a request. Shoppers should contact the store they bought from first.

Changes

We'll update this page when practices change and note the date of the latest revision.
